Email Marketing Consultant – McKinley Marketing Partners: Oct 2023-Jan 2024

Main responsibilities:
Email Marketing Campaigns – I did contract work for the client, BIO, creating marketing campaigns promoting multiple events. This included drafting copy, staging said copy, scheduling email campaigns, and building various marketing reports. These email campaigns were focused on encouraging different audiences to register for upcoming events for the client.

Reporting – Using Marketo and Google Analytics 4, I created different marketing reports focused on different metrics. These reports focused on email engagement, link performance, and revenue. The email engagement and link performance were solely Marketo reports, while for revenue I used information from Marketo and Google Analytics 4 to create a report.

Email Marketing Coordinator – CleanChoice Energy: Sept 2021-Aug 2023

Main responsibilities:
Email Marketing Campaigns – I created emails for marketing campaigns, then tested and scheduled said campaigns. This included writing creative for emails and choosing visual assets to go along with the emails. Occasionally I participated in the creative process of creating new visual assets, choosing images from image libraries or providing written creative direction in collaboration with a graphics designer.

Reporting – I reported on engagement and financial success for email campaigns. On top of that I made reports for A/B tests and other topics for quarterly marketing meetings. These reports were made by using information from Braze and Domo.

Offer Proposals – I researched and drafted proposals for new product offers to be used in marketing campaigns. At first my focus was solely offers tailored to the NY audience, but later the goal was to appraise what potential offers were legal in New York, but were appealing to the main audience as well.

Email Marketing Strategist – Campaign Inbox: Feb 2020-Sep 2021

Main Responsibilities:
Email Marketing – Staging and testing marketing copy into HTML and CSS templates, then scheduling emails in a content management system. At first it was with a proprietary system, but later on the company switched to Iterable. Along with scheduling out email campaigns, I modified HTML templates for different prospecting lists to increase revenue.

Marketing Strategy – I participated in strategy meetings for email campaigns based on performance stats, including subject line brainstorming, optimizing send times, and documenting template improvements for readability and better loading times.

Audience List Management – I was responsible for introducing new leads to some clients’ audience lists which included cleaning up any incoming audience batches, and performing warm up email campaigns for the new leads.

Research Analyst – CGI Communications: Aug 2017-Sep 2019

Main Responsibilities:
Company Research – I performed research on potential clients in different small to mid sized communities across the continental United States. This included company processes, main contact info, and their involvement within their respective communities.

Google AdWords – I helped with some overflow work from the AdWords department, this ranged from doing account maintenance (making sure existing ads are in accordance with Google’s and the client’s wants and needs) and creating new ads for different clients. These ads included both search network and display network ads.

Social Media Marketing Intern – RIT Saunders College of Business: May – August 2016

Main Responsibilities:
Twitter Account Management – I managed the RIT Executive MBA Office’s Twitter account, responsible for scheduling tweets, engagement, highlighting the alumni of the program, and curating promotional content to promote the brand. I managed the Twitter content and a content calendar using HubSpot.

Creative Asset Creation – I collaborated with a graphic designer to create new infographic content for the Twitter account and website.

Blog SEO – Performed edits on the office’s blog posts to ensure that they had proper SEO practices applied and helped strategize on future blog post topics based on performance from different channels.

Social Media Campaign Manager/Brand Ambassador: May – October 2014

Main Responsibilities:
Brand Ambassador – Went around to local events to promote the Lyft Brand and hand out coupon codes to first time riders.

Social Media Campaign Manager – Worked on creating Facebook posts for the Lyft Brand Ambassador Facebook pages. The goal of the campaign was to encourage Lyft Brand Ambassadors to promote the Lyft Brand in fun and interesting ways.
